Montenegro on Wednesday's clue, as I lost the coin-flip with Kosovo on a 50-50-90. (There's a typo in one of the poll questions; it currently reads, "My incorrect guess for the Thursday FJ! clue was Montenegro") That's how close I came to my first perfect week of the season.

The only Grimm brother I could name was Jacob.

Cassandra was overvalued at $2,000.

I have neither read the book version of The Blind Side nor seen the movie, although that didn't stop me from correctly solving Tuesday's FJ.

J! was pre-empted in my market (NYC) for San Bernardino coverage, although it was eventually broadcast at about 2:10 a.m.

Never read nor seen The Blind Side.
No preemptions this week. I was a bit surprised Wednesday.

I really should have checked the last box because I could not find Jeopardy! anywhere in the listings for Thursday night. (Wheel got preempted (and not moved to a different time) on Wednesday, but Jeopardy! wasn't affected.)

Lo and behold, before I deleted the hours of recordings I capture just in case WIVB reschedules them without telling anybody, I skimmed through and there it was!

Thanks, I switched the Montenegro to the proper day of Wednesday.

Monday and Thursday had me like, "omg, wheelhouse!"
I tried to grasp onto any TOM on Friday. The best I could get was St. Paul, which really led me nowhere. I guess it was a YEKIOYD? I'm really disappointed that it ruined my 5/5 though.

I've seen the movie The Blind Side. Never read the book.
No on San Bernadino pre-emptions (I feel like the only one that actually got J! that night; I was really surprised) but yes on Thursday Night Football (I thought that was over). My area (Grand Rapids, MI) is really horrible when it comes to preemptions. It seems like it's being preempted every week for one thing or another.

First decent FJ week in a while. I look on the bright side: I'd be happy to face this week's contestants.
Said Macedonia - I guess I meant Montenegro. Not my subject...
Clammed on the Grimms- needed more seconds.
Saw The Blind Side, I remember it as a big hit for Sandra Bullock.

I hadn't read nor watched The Blindside, but as soon as it was revealed, it was a head slap.
I didn't get Thursday's FJ because it was pre-empted and I was spoiled when I read that day's discussion.

Yes, I have seen the movie (albeit under protest, even though I am a college football fan. FWIW, the real Ms. Tuohy is a jerk.)

Friday's Lutheran response was an instaget -- anyone hearing Garrison Keillor the past three decades or so know about how strong the Lutheran influence is from the Scandinavians that came there; I've also read The Emigrants tetralogy recently, and know how strong the Lutheran church was from the settlers in that area (although, ironically enough, a lot of them came here to get away from their version of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, which ran those countries with every bit of the iron fist and control that the Roman Catholic church of the past had been; many came up with a 'new and improved' version once they got here.)

Cassandra, besides remembering it from school, was long ago reinforced by the ABBA song of the same name.

Never read or saw The Blind Side.
Considered several possibilities including Montenegro, not sure what my response actually was.
I get J! at 4:30 Central time so it was not preempted this week, though I still have not seen the Thanksgiving episode and it is not yet available on the Archive.

I checked the "preempted in my market" box even though I caught it on Wednesday. My usual channel preempted J! for the first time in about two years for San Bernardino coverage. However, fortunately, just two days earlier I bought a new PVR that allowed me to get HD channels (even though I don't have an HD TV) and one of the channels is one in Spokane that shows it at 9 pm my time. Sam Bernardino coverage has died down by then so I got it on a channel I didn't even have less than a week ago. Great timing!
