FTR, I would not suggest going out of your way to get a cannoli. Very meh, as desserts go. We're missing the bigger picture, though. TPH, you live in an economically and culturally dead area of an economically and culturally dead state. It's not going to get better. Go West (or South, or East), young man.

Leave Michigan, take the cannoli.

Rochester and Berkley locations. Though it does look like it takes over 10 hours to drive from the Copper Harbor to Monroe, two cities I selected and "kinda the opposite ends" of Michigan, so I don't know where you are in comparison to these two cities.
Those are both about 3 1/2 hours.

With whose money? I'm also a broke-ass dude who's 29 and still lives with mom because it took me 13 years just to get to flipping burgers for minimum wage at McDonald's.

Au contraire, I would STRONGLY suggest going out of your way to get cannoli (or "a cannolo," I believe, if you wanna be pedantic about it and I do). Mediocre cannoli are extremely disappointing, but if you get one from a REALLY AMAZING Italian bakery, you may understand the hype better. You will know you have found the right place when it's filled with little old mustachioed men sipping from extremely tiny cups of espresso.

We can take this to PM if you want, but people who are motivated figure out ways to get things done. If you allow yourself to be satisfied with your current station in life--including by telling yourself that there's no way you can achieve something better--you'll end up stuck there forever. I'm sure your situation is no cakewalk, but your biggest obstacle is you.

I think Alex is the ultimate determiner of that, and he plays it by ear.

It looks like a Boy Scout Award. But I can't find one exactly like it.
