Julia Roberts?!? How'd I miss her appearances??

I mistyped on that one. It was Julia Collins. :o

But yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah...that was awkward.
Jeopardy! is like History. It's a mixed bag of categories that try to test your knowledge to see if you know or can recall answers that seem familiar to the viewer.

Buzzy may have beaten players whom I wished had won particular games, but I don't hate Buzzy or have any issues with his playing style or mannerisms. AFAIK, the only Jeopardy! contestant I've truly ever hated was a TOC participant whom I competed against once in quizbowl who basically spent the time before our round could get started berating our team, the moderator, and the scorekeeper for not being involved in fraternities or sororities and talking nonstop about how awesome Greek life is in his opinion. After his team beat ours, he then bragged about how he won because he was in a fraternity and did lots of other crap.

When I first saw him, I thought of Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg on Brooklyn Nine-Nine) undercover as Jon Hamm.

After all, he hasn't played for 3 weeks, and keeping that momentum is really starting to question him as being one of the next double-digit winning champs, next to Matt Jackson, Julia Roberts, Arthur Chu, Ken Jennings, and David Madden.
I cannot figure out what you think you're saying here.

Brian
If you think about it, Buzzy hasn't played for 3 week during both the Teacher's Tournament and Power Players matches and he hasn't showed signs of faltering. That's starting to make me wonder about him. He's been getting the same hate that Matt Jackson would have gotten, but different results.
False; Andrew Pau pointed out on the same J! Fan post that there was no layoff.

Same glasses, and both have their hair slicked back, but that's about it. The faces themselves are utterly different.

Well, we're not looking for Buzzy's long lost twin here, we're looking for something that has a resemblance, and I'd say that picture of Grant qualifies. Buzzy looks more like that picture than, say, a picture of Beyonce.

Anyone who includes Star Trek in a good story is alright with me.

Personally I like Buzzy. I think he's a good champion and it's nice to finally have someone go on a bit of a run. We've only had 2 players eligible for next year's TOC win over 5 games so far.

I like Buzzy and like others have mentioned, he seems to be a solid player who doesn't take any of it too seriously. The one item I've not seen mentioned, and for once I read all of the posts, how he is challenging the Jeopardy gods by teasing Trebek! The first time he did the tease in his FJ response, I thought - Rut Roh, he's a gonner. :ugeek:

As for looks, he is the first player in a very long time to give Alex a run for the money on a tailored suit. I believe he gave credit to his father for the fashions.

If Buzzy were an Australian operetta singer, he'd be Mitchell Butel:

I just find it interesting all the music clues he missed.

I can't wait to see him in the TOC. I have a feeling he will be out in the first round, but I'm hoping he surprises me.
