I was 31 the last time I was at a college audition, so I know what you mean. ;)

You can be more than one!
Okay, I'll go for both.

ATB too. I might have participated in previous years sparingly, so don't think a rookie.
Good enough to lose on Jeopardy!

If rjaguar is OK with this and we get 5, I say "aye" for a "Senior" 50+ category.
FYI: The SHC team has decided 55+ will be the Senior cutoff.
OK, I am *not* eligible (and, FTR, I agree with 55+).
Then this makes me eligible for Rookie and ATB. Not quite 55 yet; I can join AARP and get a discount on senior coffee at McDonalds but can't qualify for the Seniors category in SHC. Oh well...all in due time!

Rookie here.

Doesn't the WQC have something like an under 30 age division? I'd like something like that here. I feel like there is a slight disadvantage for this range just based on lack of certain general life experiences ('80s stuff kills me), but once you've graduated from college there is not any other category for us (relatively) young'uns.

For what it's worth, the NCAA had a maximum age limit for first-year student athletes. However, that rule was waived for student-athletes who either served in the military or took part in a religious mission.

ATB, and if anyone wants to avoid embarrassing themselves like I did last year, here's the LearnedLeague list of things that are considered outside resources over there:
This includes, but is not limited to, asking others, using the internet or any computer for research purposes [...], using books or any other reference materials of any kind, using musical instruments, calculators, or any other tools or implements. Pencil and paper are allowed.

Thanks to host, writers, and judges!

Edited to add that I am eligible for a 55+ Senior wild card.

Eligible for ATB.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?
