What was the clue for number 10 again? That's the only one that I didn't answer differently than what's above.

Hit leader before Rose (which is Cobb, not Musial -- Rose, Cobb, Aaron, Musial, Speaker are the top 5).

It asked who the NL's all-time hit leader was before Pete Rose. I answered Hank Aaron, but it appears Aaron's 150 or so hits in his final seasons with the American League Brewers leave his NL total just short of Musial. I am now not sure about the first answer, I think it said team that relocated to a new city in 1996, then hoisted a Super Bowl trophy 5 years later. That would be the Ravens, but if by chance it said 1995, it would be the St. Louis Rams. Both won the title in their 5th year in the new city.

Here's an article from Rose passing Musial for the NL hit record. http://www.history.com/this-day-in-hist ... its-record

I think it was National League hit leader before Rose - which would be Musial.

Ahhh, it was NL. Oops.

From the looks of it, I wouldn't have even hit 50%, so what do I know. :)

I believe the category in #9 was British Open winners, #16 was Australian Open venues named for famous Aussie tennis players, and #17 was the Winter Olympics.

Your answer to #12 and #23 are correct.

Pretty sure the first question referenced a move for the 1996 season, which would be the Ravens. (Scarred Clevelander here.)

I think it's pure speculation given how little history there is for this. If 35/50 is passing for the regular show test, and you take the same 70% for these 30 questions, then you need at least 21. That seems reasonable to me, but it's just a guess.

Rondo was point guard when they won the NBA title - I think that was in the question.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. That means my 22 barely passed

In which case, I missed the cut by 1 stroke. Here are my wrong answers:
Spoiler
Peter Ousterhuizen, not Ernie Els.
Wee Willie Keeler, not Stan Musial (confused the hitting streak with total hits)
Red lines, not blue lines. Maybe I'm getting color-blind.
"Southpaw", not "The Fighter"
Derped on Rajon Rondo.
Had no idea on "Let's Go Crazy", as I'm not very familiar with Prince's music which would have given me the Minnesota connection.
Likewise, no idea that "Libero" was "Sweeper".
No idea on the shoe question; I guess "Adidas".
Couldn't come up with Pebble Beach in time, wrote down Carmel.
Finally, no clue on the Italian Canadian boxer (he was Arturo Gatti); I wrote the clearly wrong answer George Chuvalo just to avoid leaving it blank.

I remember now what my guess was for clue: it was Cap Anson, who baseball historians debate on the number of hits actually credited to him, but is under Musial or Aaron's totals, regardless.

29/30, it appears. Guessed blue lines over red lines, the Outland over the Nagurski or Lombardi trophies, discus over shot put, and coxswain was the only rowing term I could think of.

A couple of alternate answers to point out:
15. Margaret Court was born Margaret Smith, and thus is also known as Margaret Smith Court.
16. For sponsorship reasons, Charlotte Motor Speedway was known as Lowe's Motor Speedway from 1998 to 2009. If you don't follow NASCAR closely, you may still know the track by its former name.

Ooh, that hurts. Stan the Man was on the TD I hosted last month, and I couldn't come up with him tonight.
