2: ANACHRONISM--Cassius's statement "The clock hath stricken three" in this Shakespeare play is an anachronism: mechanical clocks didn't exist in the 1st century BC.
4: COACH GOLD--He was the head coach of the U.S. men's basketball team, which won gold in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
6: CARPE DIEM--"Carpe diem" is the motto of English teacher John Keating in this 1989 film.
8: RON--Ron Johnson is the senior U.S. senator from this state; Tammy Baldwin is the junior senator.
10: TOTE BAGS--This term for a Northern politician who moved to the South during Reconstruction is named for period luggage.

3: In addition to his sculpture David in Florence's Accademia, this artist also made an unfinished sculpture that could be viewed as David or Apollo.
6: This lupine sculpture in the Capitoline Museums, a symbol of Rome, may have been cast in the Middle Ages, not by ancient Romans.
9: Floors of Roman baths and apses of Ravenna churches were decorated in this art form.
12: In the Contarelli Chapel of San Luigi dei Francesi in Rome, Caravaggio depicted the calling and martyrdom of this apostle.
15: This 14th century artist painted Last Judgment and other frescoes in Padua's Scrovegni chapel.
