I'm 27 and this was an instaget for me. I feel like this was a piece of knowledge drilled into my head throughout middle school and high school, along with Woodrow Wilson being a big factor behind it and the fact that the US didn't end up joining despite him. I don't think I would have come up with the Fourteen Points if prompted last night, but that part was taught as well.

Oh yeah, we definitely learned about the League of Nations when we were in school. But I missed the clue because I focused on the names, not the years, as the TOM.

I don't think Americans learn about the functioning of the League of Nations, so that aspect of the clue was a bit startling, even if you ended up, like me, with WECIB.

I thought of the UN, knew it was wrong, and failed to follow the bread crumbs from there. If I'd thought of League of Nations, I'd definitely have gone with it. Instead I went with FIFA because a silly long shot is better than no shot.
I was rather shocked that 2 of the 3 contestants answered UN. As I was ranting to Mr. Charming, some answers in FJ should disqualify a person from winning. I had no problem with them giving an incorrect answer, the IOC would be a better answer, but I would think UN should have been an instant discard when contemplating the best response.
