New York City
guessed ragtime although music was not quite what I expected after thinking ragtime from wording of clue alone
Blanked on recalling King Julien's name from the Madagascar movie. Knew nothing about the TV show.
Yes, played with Rubik's Cube (and a knock-off) (I was alive in the 1980s.)
Das Kapital
A thank you to the archivist(s) working hard in April to have the S33 games entered on the faster side of things.

Coolidge; thought high school in 1900 was too old for Truman, too young for Coolidge, but "graduated to the presidency" made those two the best options, and lost the coin flip.
Little Rock 9.

Piano style + forerunner of jazz = ragtime, and I thought it sounded ragtimey enough.
Learned to solve a Rubik's Cube a few years ago. I've still got it somewhere around here.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

After a few lean weeks recently, it's nice to have a 5/5 week for the first time in a while.

I can't remember if I blurted out ragtime in time, but I'm counting it anyway since I was leaning towards it.

Fab Four; NYC; and Communist Manifesto.

Got the ragtime DD despite the non-ragtimey sound of the audio clip.

Yet another 4/5 week; would have gotten my first 5/5 if not for my complete lack of knowledge of space exploration. "Rendezvous" briefly had me thinking of Rendezvous with Rama by Clarke, so space-related, but that was little help when I couldn't name any of the expeditions, anyways.

No guess on the Netflix lemur
I did not hear the audio clue when I watched it (watched that day's episode on a bike at the gym)
I have played with a Rubik's Cube, but never solved it

I so should have gotten Wealth Of Nations...I'm often quite good for pinpointing when they want that and/or Adam Smith. But alas, my getting hung up on thinking the excerpt was from a diplomatic document made it a 3/5 FJ week instead of a 4/5 one.

I didn't know King Julien had landed a Netflix show...pure and simply knew him and his "I Like To Move It" song (an admitted guilty pleasure semi-staple on a playlist or two) from the Madagascar franchise.

I'll agree that the Debussy ragtime clue audio didn't sound like ragtime (maybe I'm too used to Scott Joplin's (and Marvin Hamlisch's) brand of it, given it's practically the only ragtime to which I've ever listened, thanks most particularly to The Sting soundtrack), but I said ragtime anyway because that was/is far and away THE music considered the predecessor to jazz AND "Golliwog's Cakewalk" is certainly a ragtime-ish title.

Edited to fixed an apparent typo.

NHO the lemur thing. The other two were blurted out, and I don't know whether I would have known them on my own. Probably not the monk(ey)s, but maybe Minnehaha.

Minnehaha was instaget after living in Minneapolis for eight years, where everything is named Minnehaha or Hiawatha.

Due to my careless use control of the DVR, I saw the answer to Mercury 7 before I read the clue. I'm not sure whether I would have answered it correctly.

Julien was never going to surface for me, despite watching the movies and the tv shows with my kids.

Got all but the lemur clue. I have heard that "move it move it" thing a million times, so I felt somewhat in the loop, but had no idea of who did it first or who did it second or what else to associate it with. All considered, it was beyond my grasp and near the limit of my reach.

I clicked that I got ragtime, but I didn't watch so did not have a chance to be misled by the audio.
I'm smart and I want respect.
