Hilbilly Elegy
Harry Styles, I think
Pokemon
Kiev
To Kill a Mockingbird
I looked them up afterward. It was Styles.

Dang, I had Zayn Malik for the One Direction-er.
And I suspect it'd need to be Pokemon Go, since there are four billion other Pokemon games out there. (My fiancee owns most of them; she got me into it.)

I think I got 39. Hopefully that's enough.

I think I got 36 or 37 out of 50, which PERSONALLY is garbage, but if 35 is the passing score then I got it, but cut it WAY too close. I'm also kicking myself for Sarah, Farragut, glowworm, and Department of Homeland Security. UGH.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Came up with Henrietta Lacks about two minutes too late. Changed Citizenship and Immigration cabinet department from Homeland Security to State. Never heard of Hillbilly Elegy; went with Coal Miners.

Happy I didn't overthink Maria Theresa of Austria and The Underground Railroad. Farragut and ragweed were late pulls that fortunately turned out correct.

I wish I could think of more that I felt doubtful about. I'll just have to wait for the video!

You're making me feel better, because I think that is the worst I've done in a while. I will be surprised if I got 35 and I'm normally about 40. Just had a handful that I did not have an answer for, and I completely blanked on Deadpool. It came to me about 4 questions later. I hate those.

Dang, I had Zayn Malik for the One Direction-er.
So did I, because i thought it said "former" member (did it?) and Zayn is the only one to officially leave.

I would hope its Malik, because that is what I put down, but it was a shot in the dark. Knew he was in one direction and knew he is making music outside of the group.

That's fantastic! It doesn't give the full 15 seconds per question, though, so it's not quite as suitable as sherder's will be for the people who didn't take tonight's to gauge how they would have done.

Looks like Henrietta Lacks, Homeland Security, and Hillbilly Elegy were my only misses, so I'm pleased to have 47!

If The Google is to be believed:

31 right
up to 6 'maybe?'

I'll play the odds and say I got 35.

Maybes:
Entered 'pallette' instead of 'palette' for an artist's board
'ragweed' for the hay fever one
Pokemon Go for the Google game
Volt, but apparently Chevy has the Spark as well?
junebug for the wingless firefly
"Underground Railroad' instead of "The underground railroad"

I put Tampa as my city even though I live in Minneapolis... my dad is a Florida retiree and I'd double-dip a trip to see him. Also, that's a ready-made thing to talk about during the tryout.

Well, I got a 37, or a 38 if they accept "Pallet" instead of "Palette."
