English wasn't one of the five languages that my parents read me "Goodnight, Moon" in when I was little, and until recently, I thought that the Hebrew version was the original book.

33 right.

Chapter 13 (4), Sports (4), "F" Word (2), Casino (4), July 4th (4), Red, White, Blue (4)
Rodents (1), Dictionary (0), Inlander (3), Curves (2), Asian (2), 1960's Pop Music (3)

Lach Trash: Rene Descartes, forgetting curve, Brenda Lee

My guess was "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

My FJ guess, which I had no confidence in, was The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Instaget FJ, then immediately talked myself out of it because why would he be sleeping in a great green room?

I also offered disparity and quickly equivocated to inequality. IMHO should accept either by definition. 47R, deep pull for this old bedtime story.

I know what prosopagnosia means, but was unsure what the clue was asking for. Didn't think they would want the obvious answer in that box, so I clammed.

So apparently I knew it before then too. I was about to thank Animaniacs, but they relied on the rhythm more than the words.

-Somewhere- I picked up "In the great green room...and a red balloon" (forgetting the telephone part) and I'll probably never know at this point. I'm also glad they didn't ask for the author, I only made it as far as Margaret Wise.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

I missed Final Jeopardy, no way was I getting that one. I guessed "The Secret Garden" with no confidence.

I'm really surprised the Yellow River was a triple stumper especially after the Yangtze was ruled out. It looks like the board members here didn't pick it up as LT either.

I learned the word "fusillade" today. I said Katie Leducky instead of Katie Ledecky - I'll try not to do that next time. I missed Brenda Lee sang "I'm Sorry" and also Cosmo editor Helen Gurley Brown which both come up pretty frequently.

The featherweight clue could have been a tough one. In boxing the featherweight limit is 126 pounds. In MMA (at least UFC) featherweight is 145 lbs and flyweight is 125 lbs.

I missed Entebbe and guessed Kampala. I'm pretty sure I've seen a clue with Entebbe before but I could only think of one city in Uganda.

34R/6W thanks for archiving it quickly.

Lach Trash: Great Expectations (Thanks, South Park!), Forgetting Curve (although admittedly that was a wild guess only after John Missed), and Face Blindness (Thanks to the Nintendo DS Visual Novel
Spoiler
9 Persons, 9 Doors 9 Hours
)

Whiffed on FJ - I couldn't get past Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator sounding right

Add me to the growing list of FJ miss. I'm totally stumped with no TOM.
H G Brown and M G Brown in the same game.
The face blindness clue looked familiar, but I wasn't sure where I saw that word before... obvious now.

Coryat: $26,800
41 R/5 W
DD: 3/3
FJ: :(
LT: projection (DD), face-blindness (DD)

I nearly changed my original response of Harold and the Purple Crayon to Goodnight Moon. Wish I had.

I laughed audibly when the TPH DD came up. NHO it otherwise.

And he'll probably never see an easier DD clue than: 'Name the great lake Gary Indiana lies on'.
He damn near blew that slam dunk gimmie by first, trying to buzz in, then forgetting his phrasing. arrgghhh

WLT "bicentennial" at $200?

Ran Rodents of Unusual Size.

Yes, I got the face-blindness DD.

How did we LTaM with seven clues left?

Can't say I've heard of falafel. But I have heard of stroopwafel, which almost rhymes.

I got the bottom three in 1960s Pop, but not the top two.

Lach Trash: Brenda Lee, Great Expectations

No guess on FJ! I was an extremely advanced reader, so I didn't get a lot of the children's classics

Except it's M W Brown, unless I am forgetting some clue in the body of the game that used an M G Brown.
"And has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

Lewis Carroll, "Jabberwocky"
