I may have had a bite of one or both after getting one in my trick or treat bag during the Nixon administration, but it would have been the first and last time sampling that "treat" that is more of a trick. In the future those were happily handed over to my parents. The worst crime against kid-dom was raisins as those did not make it home and were instead left sprinkled on the perpetrator's property to be crushed down by other victims.

As someone with nut allergies, I also have never had an Almond Joy or Mounds.

Well, I've eaten my share of Three Musketeers, Nestle's Crunch and m & ms. I don't particularly mind almonds or coconut, but I'm wary of nuts in chocolate candy/treats as I have been burned with peanuts often enough to just avoid such things in general.

I stupided on this one. When I looked at the questions yesterday, I went through a few possibilities before figuring out that Carnegie=steel. Unfortunately, I forgot about that when I went in to do days 5 and 6 today and said Exxon, even though I know Exxon Mobil is XOM. D'oh!

No argument there! I've got no problems with either raisins or apples, but neither one has a place in a Halloween bag.MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2017 4:56 pm The worst crime against kid-dom was raisins as those did not make it home and were instead left sprinkled on the perpetrator's property to be crushed down by other victims.

Glad I'm not the only one. Sheesh.seaborgium wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 11:33 am I saw "streaming service" and never got away from thinking of video streaming services.
You're not missing anything. Mounds is chocolate-coated mush, and Almond Joy is just a Mounds bar plus a whole almond plopped on top. Yuck.
Interesting number of Dolly Parton negs on that Nutbush City Limits question.

I clammed on that one; the one thing I knew was that it wasn't Dolly Parton.xxaaaxx wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2017 3:58 am Interesting number of Dolly Parton negs on that Nutbush City Limits question.

I knew it wasn't her or Loretta Lynn. Unfortunately we weren't asked about Pigeon Forge or Butcher Holler.Foretopman wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2017 4:37 pmI clammed on that one; the one thing I knew was that it wasn't Dolly Parton.xxaaaxx wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2017 3:58 am Interesting number of Dolly Parton negs on that Nutbush City Limits question.
