Summer Hiatus Challenge 2017--Round 4, Day 6

Post by rjaguar3 »

My dresser assembly was a success. It's time to celebrate with Day 6 of the fourth round of the SHC.

Thanks to Woof for the guest category.

Enjoy the weekend!

THE 1984 NBA DRAFT

2: The Bulls got a steal when they chose this Hall-of-Famer at #3.

4: The #1 pick was this center who led the Rockets to back-to-back championships in the 1990s.

6: The NBA Encyclopedia notes that "Some play a position exquisitely" like this #16 pick at point guard.

8: This #2 pick for the Trailblazers had a decade-long career but is widely considered a draft bust.

10: At #11, the Hawks chose Kevin Willis, who ended up on this team when it won the NBA Finals in 2003.

QUANTUM MECHANICS
By Woof.

3: Einstein won a Nobel prize for the photoelectric effect, which he explained using light particles, known by this name.

6: This German theoretician's uncertainty principle states that a particle's energy and position can't be simultaneously measured precisely.

9: This Austrian physicist (and possible cat owner) devised a famous equation relating a particle's energy to its energy operator (Hamiltonian).

12: This discoverer of the quantized nature of energy names a fundamental physical constant, approximately 6.63 × 10^-34 joule-seconds.

15: Although this Austrian-Swiss theoretician is best known for his eponymous exclusion principle, he anecdotally could break experimental equipment merely by being nearby.
