Wednesday, September 27!

I will have been waiting five months and three days for this air date. :o

It's a very weird feeling to know the outcome of next Friday's game without having seen it.

 The champ from that game was the incumbent champ for my taping session. So I haven't seen the game, but I know that this person won it.

Thanks! I'm sort of grimacing with anticipation of possible GIF memes / Twitter rants / other usual Internet commentary. Also, this airdate wait has felt eternal. I saw all ten episodes of that session and have been dying to talk about them. :geek:

I had a four month wait, and discovered memory was more blurred than I expected -- watching the show, I had moments of, "Wait, THAT was a category we did? Really?" with zero memory of it. Hope you have a great time at your watch party!
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

I… uh… might be pretty excited for this.
From the taping session, I've seen all of this week's games, as well as next week's. Watch.

That's how I felt when Susan Corica first appeared. I was like "...stuff just got real."

And then seeing your face on This Week's Lineup is seriously exciting too! So awesome!

A bit of meta-trivia: Wednesday's player 3, Jennie Floyd, won $64k on WWtBaM? in 2003. So that wasn't at all intimidating going into this match. </sarcasm>

And I'm sure Jeannie let you know before the match for purely altruistic reasons, not to rattle you or anything. :)

She's certainly a savvy player. More meta-trivia commentary to be revealed later. :D

While it's not said whether or not she mentioned this fact to her opponents, why would this be at all intimidating? If she did mention it, that's a sure sign one is actually not confident in her ability or chances. If she did not, she only won $64k. Big deal. If an opponent were to mention that to me I'd immediately ask if they had a bad day or they simply weren't that good. :o

Retro good luck!

Yeah, really. That's only 6.4% of the available prize money. Less than 1/15th.
