Since the quote wasn't in the clue but merely implied, it was necessary to arrive at Gaul from geographic and historical information. I suppose another conceivable route to itwould be Asterix and Obelix comics.

Asterix and Obelix certainly helped me get there, I don't believe I would have remembered Gaul otherwise, and I can't remember seeing the quote before.

Austin 2 has faced 20 opponents. Among those 20 there's been 3 correct FJ answers.

It's even worse than that! Just 2 correct out of 19 opponents by my count. Did I miss something? Did the one who finished in the red say they would have got the FJ?

Two things I remember from previous discussions were that this game was taped on August 2 and it was the first game in which the contestants stayed at their podiums after the game (rather than being walked over to center stage to talk with Alex). Was the reason for this change ever announced?

I did get FJ!--either it was a reference to all Gaul in three parts, or I had no idea.

No clue on FJ, I said "Ireland" just for the sake of having something

I got the FJ right, but I always thought that that famous quote was referencing the splitting up of Charlemagne's empire after his death.
