South Africa would've been a DD get.
Got Twist on 'orphan' and, like Mark, later noticed the alphabet hint.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

I can't believe I missed an FJ! with an 89% get rate that wasn't about pop music or movies. I deserve to be relegated to an E rundle.

Got both countries wrong on Thursday with a particularly egregious guess on the west, Russia on the east. Ridiculously bad miss on Friday: sounded like Dickens, orphans made me think of Oliver Twist, noticed the pattern, and somehow forgot to circle back to notice that Twist fit the pattern. I don't know how I managed that.

I watch J! at 4:30 CT on an NBC station, so the rerun of the Thanksgiving Day Parade preempted it and there was no makeup showing. Fortunately, I was able to watch by alternate means.

Had Bulgaria and Iraq (the runners-up) on Thursday. Got everything else right.
The Thursday show aired on the affiliate's digital subchannel (but forgot to update the listing on my TiVo from the regular episode of M*A*S*H so it didn't tape, so I had to get it from Reddit). Friday's show aired as normal.
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

Wasn't sure how to answer the penultimate question. I got Oliver Twist as being the orphan with absolutely no confidence in it being the right answer until I noticed the S-T-U-V pattern.
