Koko the gorilla, who is said to have been able to communicate by using more than 1,000 hand signs, has died in California at the age of 46.
...
The gorilla...could understand 2,000 words of spoken English.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, becoming the second elected world leader in modern times to have a child while in office.

The only other elected head of government known to have given birth while in office was Pakistan’s Benazir Bhutto, who had a child while she was prime minister in 1990.

ABC has put in an order for 10 episodes of Roseanne Without Roseanne, "The Connors"

Meanwhile, Marvel's New Warriors is still being shopped for a home. Could've given it that timeslot, ABC.

Roseanne Without Roseanne needs to take a cue from “Garfield Minus Garfield” comics, and have the cast act into the void as if she’s present the whole time.

This feels like a movie that deserves to slip under all our radars...except it's a weird pop culture nexus that's infested with possible clues.

Uncle Drew, starring Kyrie Irving (formerly of the Championship winning 2016 Cavaliers and the Championship losing 2017 Cavaliers, now on the Celtics) as the titular Drew. Uncle Drew the character was from PepsiMax commercials and Pepsi is co-producing the film.

Science fiction writer Harlan Ellison has died. (I got this from Christine Valada's Twitter feed; she is a friend of him and his wife.)

Has a Mac and Me clue ever appeared on the board? I’m short on “movies that began as ad campaigns” precedents.

In Ironhorse's current TD 385 (reveal currently underway), Ernest P. Worrell was a singleton response. Ernest started as a character in ads before moving to the big screen.
