Tu - I knew it was about Pompeii and named the only Roman scholar type name I know, but said Pliny the Elder; NHO the younger.
Then why bother specifying the Elder?
Could be that's the only way he's ever heard it.

Does it count that I just saw Manchester by the Sea today AFTER the Final Jeopardy?

I expected a rather higher score for Monday's, and a lower score for Wednesday's.
Never been on J!, but once won a knockoff version that aired on local access TV.

That there are 2 senators whose names anagram into each other by transposing one letter is about as trivial as FJ could get, I thought - and then they wanted to know what company brought a movie out...  I guessed La La Land for that one...I note from Wikipedia that Manchester wasn't released to Amazon Prime until 6 months after its theatrical release. Nothing notable about its release at all...
I spent more time on the 90% desert part than the population part on Fri...
Blanked on the author - always meant to read About a Boy, only recently saw the movie - and hesitated on Trivial Pursuit - too long since I played it...

We hillbillies have a deep sense of manners - I would always say "Alexander the Great", or "Robin the Boy Wonder". Why do you ask, Mr. Best Darn Penguin? 8-)

Clinton on Monday. Pliny the Younger on Tuesday. No traction on Wednesday or Thursday. Lucky guess on Friday.
