5% right, 32% wrong, 63% clammed. That puts even some of the most diabolical SHC 15pters to shame, and the get rate rivals some of the hardest FJs of all time. YIKES!! I feel a bit better now (I blurted out P-51, but would've clammed with real $$ on the line).

If Jeopardy! consisted of nothing but WWII-era aviation clues, 10-year-old me would have been Ken Jennings before Ken Jennings. I've retained enough knowledge from that time to get this clue, but I had to fight the Pavlovian urge to say P-51, because that seems like the only American fighter that would be mainstream enough to ever get asked for by name on the show. I agree that this question was brutal.
