As of my reply, Switzerland is outpacing Ukraine as a selection 39% to 24%. Too bad Jeopardy is not a democracy.

For the hellish beast, I had the right idea, but wrote down "Ceberus" instead of "Cerberus," so I counted it as incorrect. Wish I could say for sure it was a hasty spelling oversight and that I would have pronounced it correctly, but I have to admit I might have missed it even had it been a vocal response.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Put the Danube in the wrong place and went with Spain.
Got spoiled on Friday, but I'm counting it wrong since I doubt I would have got it without the spoil, then misspelled it badly anyway.

Guessed Lake Victoria (going for the eldest daughter). I completely missed the rhyme (and probable song lyric) with breeze.
Not a clue on the other two.

Social Security Monday.. not even close Tuesday, Sphinx Friday. I've bungled many geography wordplay finals in the past - happy to buck the trend this week.

Both the Boston and Rhode Island markets are CBS affiliates, so alternative action was taken on Thursday and Friday.

I didn't have anything better than Peyton Place on Tuesday. Novel written by a woman in the 1950's--I've made worse guesses! Got lucky on Thursday. Minotaur on Friday. I see J! at 4:30 on an NBC affiliate, so no problems.

So far, the Minotaur is beating Cerberus 2:1.
