Not revealed: the twins were Klingon, a species that notably contains redundant organs.opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 10:06 amI think the main problem was the clue implied that the donor twin survived the donation. IN 1954, IN THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL ORGAN TRANSPLANT, AN IDENTICAL TWIN GAVE UP ONE OF THESE TO HIS BROTHER. That sounds like a voluntary decision, not something involving a guy in a coma who signed the back of his driver license. And the phrase "one of these" also suggests something the donor had more than one of. These considerations rule out heart. In fact, I yelled out "What is a heart?" as a joke response. When Rebecca made it for real, I yelled, "Rebecca! I was KIDDING!"Spaceman Spiff wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:11 amThis was a case where it helped to be old rather than a college student; I remember the news of the first heart transplant (1967) when it happened; I learned later that other transplants preceded it.opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 7:30 pm Ouch. Rebecca. That heart response is going to smart for a while. Dang. Props to William for eking out a win in a close match.

I'm trying to catch up again. Sorry for the zombie thread resurrections.
R: 25, W: 2, costing 1400
Coryat: 17,600
FJ:
DD: 0/3
LT: protocol
This was a pretty fast game. That's what happens when there are few wrong answers and triple stumpers.
2:54 + 2:58 = 5:52
6:37
1:24
That left a lot of time for credits at the end.
I ran Heteronyms, got stumped in Disney Channel Movies.
The mother making her son immortal lead me to Achilles. Had no idea she failed at the task multiple times before getting it almost right. I also didn't know there were others who were made immortal (without being parented by a god). So got a bit lucky.
