This list is not credible without the inclusion of 4 Non-Blondes. Fatboy Slim is just one guy.SenseiCAY wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 12:23 pmI grew up in the 90s, even though I wasn't that into the music then - I like the hair bands and classic rock a lot more, myself. WRONG (+14)
---------------
acthomas (Annealing)
badgerfellow (F - Bessemer)
squarekara (F. Conching)
Old Brown Shoe (f. quenching)
Quantum (f annealing)
merica (E) Nirvana [worst band ever])
(just kidding, merica...you're down there somewhere...but there are certainly worse bands than Nirvana)
Ha! Although I am in the bottom half of this TD, I did a double take when this answer was in the "wrong" category. You got me on that one.
As a child of the '80s and all that is good with "hair bands", I respectfully repeat my position on Nirvana. It swept in an entire generation of utterly depressing and poor music in my opinion.
In case you were wondering, they were Nickelback, Creed, Hoobastank, Fatboy Slim (seriously...how do you get a hit song out of just repeating "right about now, the funk soul brother, check it out now" like 50 times?), and Savage Garden.
Ya know, I liked the song "What's Up?" I also can't name another song by them, so they weren't on my radar.9021amyers wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 1:18 pmThis list is not credible without the inclusion of 4 Non-Blondes. Also true, but I was willing to loosen my definition of "band" for someone who released what I believe to be the worst song I have ever heard. And somehow, it was picked up by one of the "Now That's What I Call Music" compilation CDs.
Don’t buy those CDs; each track is the worst song I’ve ever heard.
While I can understand your criticism, Fatboy Slim gets a pass from me for his most excellent "Weapon of Choice" video.
Absolutely true fact about that video, that's just a normal day for Christopher Walken. Someone just showed up with a camera.Woof wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 1:42 pmWhile I can understand your criticism, Fatboy Slim gets a pass from me for his most excellent "Weapon of Choice" video.
I was a little surprised by that as well, but I guess they're on TV a decent bit.CasketRomance wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 3:13 pm didn't realise that many people that frequent this site knew what draftkings was

Hey, if anyone ever plans to roadtrip through Springfield, MO, check out Best Western Rail Haven, an old motor court from the 30's located on Rt. 66. Our first visit happened to coincide with the annual classic car show downtown, and a lot of the participants were staying there. When we pulled into the parking lot and saw all the cars from bygone days, we thought we had entered the Twilight Zone.
And here, I thought that you didn't know and gave me the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
