Pa
protactinium — Singleton!
twelvefootboy
Please re-check my answer. I think I brain farted and put Pr (Praseodymium) instead of the correct Pa. I chose Protactinium because it was my only stumper when I saw a list of nuclides a while back by symbol and couldn't match the name.
I also thought it was supposed to be a two letter symbol as well

Never mind - rereading the question the symbol was all that was required. Thank you Ursa for the "a".
I feel dirty.

Haha, it's all good. And I appreciate that everyone followed instructions and left out the chemical symbol. Extraneous information makes it harder to grade these things. Like [DROP] for DROP :?

I'd have a singleton if it weren't for you.

Interestingly enough, Richard parker is named after a real life cabin boy who was cannibalized aboard a ship.

Spoiler
Should I not say,
“Hath a dog money? Is it possible
A cur can lend three thousand ducats?” Or
Shall I bend low and in a bondman’s key
With bated breath and whispering humbleness
Say this: “Fair sir, you spet on me on Wednesday last;
You spurned me such a day; another time
You called me ’dog'—and for these courtesies
I’ll lend you thus much moneys?”

Give me both words missing from the title of the play reviewed here:
Spoiler
“An exotic beast is stalking Broadway. No, I’m not referring specifically to the man-eating title character played by Robin Williams in “______ ______ at the Baghdad Zoo.” I’m talking about the play itself: Rajiv Joseph’s smart, savagely funny and visionary new work of American theater, whose presence on Broadway invites fanciful comparison to the titular beast. A Pulitzer Prize finalist last year, “________ ________” is like a majestic cat serenely striding through a litter of cute-as-can-be kittens ready for their YouTube close-ups.

Who’s the brute described in this impassioned, genteel monologue from a 1947 play:
Spoiler
“He acts like an animal, has an animal's habits! Eats like one, moves like one, talks like one! There's even something--sub-human--something not quite to the stage of humanity yet! Yes, something--ape-like about him, like one of those pictures I've seen in--anthropological studies! Thousands and thousands of years have passed him right by, and there he is--_________ ________--survivor of the stone age! Bearing the raw meat home from the kill in the jungle! And you--you here--waiting for him!”
Stanley Kowalski — Singleton!
Sims

Tennessee Williams wrote a number of plays with an animal in the title. Name one.
Sweet Bird of Youth — Singleton!
Bipolar Bear

The 2016 Tony Award for Best Play went to this one-act play by Stephen Karam with a short title fitting the theme of this TD. Reed Birney and Jane Houdyshell picked up Tonys for Best Featured Actor and Actress in a Play.

In this review from the NY Times, Ben Brantley is describing the 2017 revival of which 1922 expressionist play:
Spoiler
“The vision of Yank in the stokehole — bare-chested and begrimed with coal, his phallic shovel raised high — sends the girl into a swoon of revulsion. “Oh, the filthy beast!” she screams. Her reaction stirs revenge lust in Yank, but, more important, it makes him think — about who he is and where he belongs.”

:D

I was actually kinda proud of it - I was afraid that all of my answers (tiger lily, dandelion, dogwood, cattail, etc.) would have multiple people answering it, so I thought of this loophole and spent way too much time finding something that would fit through said loophole.

Lol @ the lobster. I didn't even catch the Joaquin phoenix thing. The movie theme was unique enough to snuff it out.

I need some help here

Magna - I'm not a Simpsons fan and I can't find any reference to Santa's Little Helper II
This was just a typo. I originally meant Snowball II, but realizing that was their cat I changed it to Santa's Little Helper, but kept the II. I have no idea if the dog was ever referred to that way on screen. Anyway, however you decide to judge this is fine with me. :)

Jasper refers to a dog from Family Guy.

Obviously Brian is the answer that you were going for, but I don't see why Jasper wouldn't fit the technical wording of the question.
