On the lineup for this week on the official J! site, there are two contestants with the same (sounding) first name with appearances this week: Catherine Ono on Monday and Katherine Pisarro-Grant on Thursday. I thought that TPTB tried to minimize situations where two same-first-named contestants might end up playing against each other (i.e. in regular play not calling them up for the same week or while one is still champion). (Although their names are spelled differently, for practical purposes here it's the sound that counts.) Is this a sign of something happening that warrants calling up one of the alternates?* And unless they've changed their policy, it almost certainly indicates that Catherine from Monday doesn't win more than two games.
*Last time we had a triple-zero game TPTB concealed it by not showing the (new) occupant of the champion's podium until that game's day.

No alternates were used in the Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday games this week. I was at the taping, and overheard one of the alternates (after the morning session) saying she wouldn't be needed.
