Man, if I knew you were going with doubles, I would have busted out my guaranteed single of Gator Great Lisa Raymond. She has the career slam in doubles and 3 of the 4 in mixed doubles (and a Bronze in the Olympics for good measure)..
I’m inclined to throw out the question and assign anyone who complained 50 penalty points; instead, I’ll just berate my playtesters- the motleyest crew ever assembled!

AFRET CMS wrote: Wed Jul 11, 2018 11:59 pm Oof -- I saw the photo array, and thought it was a bit unfair. Normally I know a few to several of the answers and have limited choices, but in this one I could name every actor, the role he or she played in the franchise, and describe memorable scenes for each. It was really hard to select one.

Now you've made me sad that I knew them.
My work here is done

7. SCOTUS
A very topical question! Name one of these landmark Supreme Court decisions. Full case name required unless commonly known by an abridged name
Spoiler
  • 1857 The Constitution does not consider slaves to be U.S. citizens. Rather, they are constitutionally protected property of their masters
  • 1896 Jim Crow laws are constitutional under the doctrine of ‘Separate but Equal’
  • 1944 The need to protect against espionage outweighs the rights of Americans of Japanese descent
  • 1954 In the field of public education, the doctrine of ‘separate but equal’ has no place
  • 1965 A state law that criminalizes the use of contraception by married couples is unconstitutional because all Americans have a constitutionally protected right to privacy
  • 1966 Police must advise criminal suspects of their rights under the Constitution to remain silent, to consult with a lawyer, and to have one appointed to them if they are indigent
  • 1967 Ending all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States
  • 1973 The right to privacy implied by the Constitution protects a woman’s choice in matters of abortion
  • 1974 Neither separation of powers, nor the need for confidentiality can sustain unqualified Presidential immunity from the judicial process
  • 1989 The Constitution protects desecration of the flag as a form of symbolic speech
  • 2010 Limits on corporate and union political expenditures during election cycles violate the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment

I'm curious if my esteemed boardmates knew for a fact that these states do not have any national parks or if it was more a collection of educated wild guesses.

Also, I quit. Two wrong answers is just plain embarrassing.

I don't know if I didn't choose my own state because I'd mistakenly believed a nearby state park was a national park, or just because I hate admitting I'm from Indiana.

No love for the Rehnquist court!

1974 Neither separation of powers, nor the need for confidentiality can sustain unqualified Presidential immunity from the judicial process (Rehnquist)
Nixon v. United States
Not only was the Nixon tapes case not decided by the Rehnquist court, Rehnquist recused himself from that case. It was an 8-0 decision authored by the Chief Justice, Warren Burger.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.
