I assumed that after elimination it was like the player no longer existed. Too lazy to see whether that would have helped/hurt me. :-)
I think it makes sense to keep all the answers for scoring purposes. Plus it’s easier for me to grade :)

Yup, and that player was eliminated, so no advantage there
Hey! I can hear you, you know.

Just out of curiosity, would "Child" have been considered for the Harry Potter question, considering the script has also been released in book form? Or would its format have not been considered a novel for the purposes of this quiz?

I said novel to distinguish from play, but if there’s also a prose version, then I’d have to accept it, even though I specified 7 answer choices. I try to write questions that are unambiguous, but it doesn’t always work out that way!

If my Twitter sense is tingling, there was a reason the last question is what it was. It probably also means I sheeped big-time.

"Misunderstood." Um.... sure. We'll go with that.

Far kinder than a scornful reminder to RTFQ. Which is what I said to myself after bruising my forehead with my palm.

These short burst TDs have been really fun ... hope you keep throwing one out every once in a while; the elimination concept adds to the spice. Congrats to the co-champs!

Last night of summer? The equinox is tomorrow. ETA - I see it's also Earth Wind and Fire day.

Anyway, thanks Morbeedo for a fun TD, as usual! And congratulations to all!

Thank you for running another shortie and these games are a nice contrast to what it takes to sort through working out my responses to the ones run by floridagator.

Congrats to those in the winner's circle.

If the lottery goes the same way as the TD, I'll have the winning numbers on my ticket. After being eliminated the day before the drawing.

Wow, 3rd place. That's really good for me considering that in the last mini-TD I got the 2nd question wrong.

I really enjoy the format. Thanks morbeedo!

At least when you get eliminated, you still get to see how your answers would have scored if you still had a score. In the TD Tracker tool, I assign a 100 point penalty for wrong answers so that all the eliminated players fall to the very bottom of the standings and can be easily cut :)
