If I were in the pool, I might be hoping for continued hacking of Sony's web sites.

Since I'm not in the pool, but am registered, I hope they run the test tomorrow!
I was thinking the same thing...
Well, now we have a few suspects, anyways. :)

Just found out I'm meeting a visitor for dinner tomorrow, so I guess I'll do the Wednesday one.

They started registration a while back and I don't remember if I registered or not.

Someone said there's a written notice that those who have registered and received a "confirmation number" are all set.
I don't think they've asked for the number when I've signed on to take the test in the past, but given the circumstances this time around, they might.

I have my confirmation number at the ready.

My biggest concern, however, is that I have changed my browser of choice and my OS since signing up. Last year they had a place where you could test your browser well in advance, but I cannot find that now.

Since login opens 30 minutes before test time, that should give me plenty of time to switch back to Windows if it don't work in Linux.

My teens are upset, too, about registration closing two full weeks before their testing date.

The practice test is now up at the J! website, for anyone interested.

42/50, which is what I believe I had gotten on the written test lo those many years ago. The difficulty level seemed about right, although I've never taken the online one.

35/50, bare minimum, hope to repeat that effort for my 1st online test ever tonight.

I just received a J! email reminder that I'm registered for tonight's test and to log in 1/2 hour early, so it looks like all's well.

I got an e-mail today reminding me about the test, so I guess I did register. I have no idea what my login number is, have never needed it before. I remember having to put in a password, which is the same on I always use for these things, so hopefully that's all I need.

49/50 on the practice, but that's because it's the Tuesday test I took in January 2009 (or at least it largely comes from that test), and scored 34 on, much to my dismay. Taking the test was itself a gesture of admitting defeat, since it was coming up on 18 months since my audition. But then to be immediately defeated anew by the test made all those answers I missed (but not the Great Lakes) stick in my mind.

I missed the registration this time around, but it's a consolation that my schedule this week prevents my taking it "live" anyway. And it helps that I've already been on the show! (Similarly, getting The Call in February 2009 helped soothe the pain of striking out on the test a month earlier.)

Naypyidaw, but read the clue carefully in case they want Yangon/Rangoon!

I just got another e-mail from them telling me my registration number. It said I would need this number to take the test.

So did I. I actually kept a record of mine anyway.

I panicked when I got the first email saying we'd need our confirmation number, then found I had actually (in some sort of fit of uncharacteristic organization) saved it into a folder of other "important stuff". Whew, crisis averted! Then I got the second email with the number - all that fuss for nothing. But I'm glad they did that.

Thanks, I appreciate it! 37/50 here. Borderline, but a big improvement over my real score last year.

My two email reminders came in at 1:40 and 3:21pm.

Let's hope yours are yet to come. Also, don't forget to check your spam catcher.

Good luck everybody.
