eureka wrote:I was happy with the first few questions. I think I knew almost all but 5 or 6. Unfortunately I had a few that I knew, but couldn't access. The magicians, if it is indeed Seigfried and Roy, and Rear Window. For those I had pretty much the whole history of the 2 and the plot of the movie, but not the names. I knew the Before and After, but I hadn't read the category, so I was bit confused. Ran out of time to get it down. I know I did better than last time, but not much.
It's not Siegfried and Roy- it's Penn and Teller

Any idea where we can go to see the transcript?

Definitely the easiest of the Jeopardy tests I've taken. Less pop culture than usual, I think, which helped.

I picked them because they were easier to spell.

If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

Well, I'm glad I got the Penn and Teller coinflip right. Maybe I'll reach 10!

Argh, so frustrating. I honestly hope I break 20 when the transcript comes out, and I'm taking the Central Time Zone one next year.

This feels like another 41 or 42 for me, which has gotten me a couple of auditions in the past. Either way...now the waiting. (sigh)

The first post of this thread, as soon as the archivists have it up.

Don't let the crowd steer you wrong, you are actually correct.

There is a placeholder above. As soon as somebody has the time and source, it will be put there.

It is not official; it is not a paying job; it is completely up to someone's generosity.

As I was typing "Penn and Stiller" I knew it didn't sound quite right but couldn't think fast enough to fix it. First time taking the test and had no idea 15 seconds goes by so fast.

I couldn't think of their names either. I really didn't think it was S & R. I think my mind went to S & R, but thinking it couldn't be them as the guy has not really recovered from the attack. 15 seconds can go by fast when you get sidetracked with who it' s not, but what the heck is the name of who it isn't. It's a lot easier sitting on the couch, when you can know the category, and can read the clue along while listening.

I just went through and did my own little transcript, and looks like I got 27! Which is better than I have done in years past (and I felt like if I had brushed up on my history/geography and literature, I would have gotten at least 5 or 6 more...). Oh and I thought Schubert for the unfinished symphony and switched to Beethoven at the last second.

What's the correct answer for this one? "Title of the rulers of the venetian republic, the last of whom was deposed in 1797"

Doges I think, but I'm not sure if that's what they were going for.

What was the answer to the Nobel Peace Prize question? That's the only one I left blank.
