TD 403 - MuchMusic (Final results)

Post by clt013 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:29 pm

This TD is called "MuchMusic" and consists of a series of categories with clues that lead to words which are part of (or entire) song titles. The numbers in parentheses indicate the song's peak position on the Billboard chart and year, a blank corresponds to the word referenced by the clue and any letters begin the other words in the title. Correct answers are the number or word(s) referenced by the clue - completed titles and artists only come into play in the bonus round - so deep knowledge of pop music is not required. There are also hints for many questions.

Example Clue (Question #0): These are images, emotions and sensations that occur during certain stages of sleep [OIM ___ (#4 1987)]
Correct answer = Dreams; For information on the title and artist, see Option C in the bonus section.

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for that question
3) You may elect to take the sheep answer for one question
4) There is no bonus for not using the "drop" or "sheep", so you probably want to take the former and get a zero for one question
5) Wrong responses are the higher of either +10 points or the "sheep" answer +3
6) All answers are due by 10 AM Central Time on Monday, November 19, 2018
7) Submit answers via this Google form or PM

I just now realized that, due to the nature of the final bonus option I picked, I neglected to use a drop on any question. This could hurt.

I'm glad to be doing so well (so far). I guess music is one of my trivia stronger suits, but I did give a couple of my answers solely based on the clue given, instead of actually recognizing the song it was referring to.
