^Hollywood Squares (the 1998-04 Tom Bergeron version) did the same with its tournaments. The two-week tournaments would have fourteen contestants in the quarter-finals, but only the top four highest scorers would move on to the semi-finals. If the tournament was only one week, eight contestants would be in the semi-finals, but only the top two highest scorers would move on to the finals.
