TD 406 - Course Options (Final results)
Posted: Thu Dec 06, 2018 9:04 am
I am posting this TD a few days early as I have altered my initial plans for it.
There are 18 total questions, but instead of posting them all at once I am splitting them into two "nines" and that also happens to fit fairly well with the theme - which is PGA events held during the calendar year. Don't despair if you are not a golf fan - most of the questions actually have little (if anything) to do with the sport.
Hopefully dealing with 9 at a time is less daunting than 18 all at once.
Selfishly, it should at least help me be able to get all of the results posted before Christmas.
The schedule for entries will look like this:
8 AM Central Time 12/6 through 8 AM CT 12/13 - Entries accepted for "Front Nine"
1 PM Central Time 12/10 through 1 PM Central Time 12/17 - Entries accepted for "Back Nine"
Those who wish to enter then have these options:
1) Front Nine only
2) Back Nine only
3) All 18
Scores will be tabulated for each nine (so those who only enter one instead of both can see where they ranked) and then combined for those who "play" all 18 questions. The reveal should begin on Tuesday, December 18.
Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total (Just like in golf!) wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may drop one question from each nine
3) You may elect to take the highest score ("sheep" answer) for one question on each nine
4) There is no bonus for not using any of your "drops" or "sheep"
5) "Hole-in-one" bonus of -2 (or -1 if there is a tie) for the most singletons in each 9
6) Wrong responses are the higher of either +10 points or the "sheep" answer +3
7) All "Front Nine" answers are due by 8 AM Central Time on Thursday, December 13, 2018
8) Submit "Front Nine" answers via this Google form or PM
