It would help to realize he clue specified that it was a country associated with (read "colonized by") Italy, which distinguishes it from about 3.9 trillion of the other countries. So there's that....TenPoundHammer wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 12:00 am I just had no idea what to even guess. Aaaannnnddd….buh-bye to the one-time champ. Too bad, as I enjoyed her games.
Ran the categories: eponyms, eternal.
LT: morphine, Nietzsche, Inferno/Divine Comedy.
I saw the FJ category and started to pre-call. Got as far as Addis Ababa and stopped, thinking how far down that list of increasingly obscure capitals will the writers go? Probably not too far. Right again.

And how does one learn of Porto-Novo without seeing it in print? I haven't gotten the impression that you've been to Benin. (I'd count it as two words anyway, even with the hyphen.)
