Among other roles, he was Father Mulcahy in the movie M*A*S*H.

Sports Illustrated's 2019 Sportsperson of the Year is Megan Rapinoe of the U.S. Women's soccer team. She is only the 4th individual woman so honored, following Chris Evert (1976), Mary Decker (1983), and Serena Williams (2015).

Andy Beshear (D) became governor of Kentucky. His father Steve was also governor, making them the first father-son duo of governors in KY history. Outgoing governor is Matt Bevin (R).

Sanna Marin (Social Democrat) is prime minister of Finland. At age 34 she is youngest sitting head of government in the world. Finland's Parliament is Eduskunta. If J! wants to use it the previous prime minister, Antti Rinne, has that Finnish looking/sounding name.
