On Thursday I had JFK right away and didn't figure out W. until after the music ended, but I'm giving it to myself because I was dealing with the distraction of my dad and brother thinking aloud. Twelfth Night on Friday.

Norway; if I'd considered more I would probably figured Denmark is between Germany and Norway but there might be a water border in the east with Sweden.
Bouncing around all the comedies I could name quickly, I nearly settled on the correct answer but switched over to The Merchant of Venice at the last second. Oops.

I've seen bits of JFK in my high school government class, but not enough to say I've seen the whole movie. Haven't seen any of W.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Well...no...because it was Taming of the Shrew.

But if they asked for the Shakespeare comedy about two pairs of twins, yes, it would.

If I was asking about whether it was correct, then your answer would be pertinent. As I wasn't, your answer is irrelevant.

Wow. Third week for checking the box of glory. I'm on a 17 FJ streak. Wow. For those who were on this ride with me, I fear some of them got bucked off by the Shrew.

I thought the movie question was neat. I hope we don't have to study nautical borders now, but I did remember that Denmark juts above Germany, and that you can almost walk to Sweden from it.

Looking for a point of entry into the Shakespeare question, the "inside/outside" bit suggested Much Ado about Nothing, à la that song from "Kiss Me Kate" referring to clothing. That's as close as I got to Taming of the Shrew. My other main thought was Midsummer Night's Dream, because I thought I remembered a lot of people therefore many possibilities for "we", also that some of them were turning into animals and such, but then I remembered the movie's ending with Puck talking about Robin making amends and nothing about hearts and parts, so I went back to Much Ado.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Turkey (yes, really)
Never seen JFK, know about the magic loogie scene from Seinfeld. NHO a movie named "W". Was it a sequel to "My Pet Goat"?
Romeo and Juliet and read the damn category next time

I know "dolor" as pain, and I spell the name Delores. Deloris. damn...

(ETA - google gives "sorrows" as third translation of "dolores", after "pains" and "grief". But it indicates "dolores" as first choice for "como se dice "sorrows"? FWIW, I learned the anglo version of Cielito Lindo as "canta y no llores" translated as "sing, have no sorrows". Now we are all dumber in two languages ;))

I think if we had had a box for "I got all the FJs this week except for Friday's" it would poll high.

Seen JFK, have not seen, and had forgotten about W.. Pick a Shakespeare comedy at random on Friday, think I would have put down A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Missed with "Much Ado About Nothing," another play where what was displayed outside didn't seem to match the feelings inside.

They could do it billions and billions of times, and "Cornell" plus "astronomer" will always = "Sagan."
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

So Taming of the Shrew is polling at 19% right now. I imagine that's not a record low; can anyone tell me which clues have scored lower? Or, I suppose, more usefully, can anyone tell me how I can find out for myself which clues have scored lower?
