The overall get rate for those tournaments is 48.29% (607/1257). The FJ get rate for the last 428 regular-play games is 49.20% (618/1256).
Way closer than i thought it would be. kudos to the writers for keeping it level

Every one is entitled to their opinion. But it's odd to dislike a contestant that plays to win, actually thinks about answers rather than just blurting something out, and gives him and his team the best chance to win by wagering optimally.
And by the way, he does enjoy his experience. He is intense and competition is fun for those types.
Yeah, with how well he plays + how much he posts on Twitter, it's hard to imagine Alex not loving Jeopardy. He is polite, quick, hides a lot of information.
I'm sure Golf knows better comparatives, but just think of an early Tiger Woods or (fill in blank), in comparison to Lee Trevino or (your choice).
But I agree that it's more fun to watch a loose cannon than a laser guided bomb.

After watching the "all-stars" I concluded that being a Jeopardy champ is 2/3 luck - categories and competitors.
I was surprised at how poorly they played.

Could Team Buzzy have won the tournament if Alex Jacob correctly guessed Pulp Fiction? It would have made it to the finals of course, but let's also assume they wagered nothing on Final when the correct question was "What is 1952?" because Team Buzzy would have been untouchable,
