TD 415 - Anniversary Edition (Final results)

Post by clt013 » Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:02 am

This week marks two years since I posted my first TD as a host and next week I will celebrate a matrimonial milestone. So the title of this quiz is "Anniversary Edition".

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for that question
3) You may elect to take the sheep answer for one question
4) There is no bonus for not using the "drop" or "sheep", so you probably want to take the former and get a zero for one question
5) Wrong responses are the "sheep" answer +4
6) All answers are due by 8 AM Central time on Tuesday, March 26, 2019
7) Submit answers via this Google form or PM

Bumping before the "madness" kicks into high gear at various venues across the country.

I will be in one of those arenas this afternoon - hoping my alma mater can pull off a bracket busting upset.

I'm jealous, I've always wanted to go. I didn't realize Hartford was hosting this year or I would've looked into tickets. My alma mater (Univ. of New Hampshire) has never and likely never will get in...

BU hadn't been in for 13 years and they'll never play closer to my home so that led to attending NCAA Tournament games for the first time.

Oh I'm aware. They'd been better the last 5 years or so, but the senior class that left last year was most of the talent. When I was a student, they held the record for longest home losing streak, which I think was broken, but I'd guess we are one of the 10 worst programs in D1 history. Luckily the hockey and football teams have won all those national championships...oh wait that hasn't happened either.

going to say they arent one of the worst 10 programs in history when you figure in most of the HBCUs...then you also have programs like njit (which is on the rise), chicago state and centenery (when they were d1)...maine worst this year in the america east and probably worse historically than new hampshire
