Holy pop culture, Batman!

48/50 - by far my best showing on any online test

Missed gluten (lactose) and Shake It Off (Shake It)

Now, you'd think this would inspire confidence for the real* online tests coming up on Apr 9, 10, 11 (week after next), but I'm bracing for a tougher mix of questions

Good luck to all who are testing for realz

*Yes, I know this was a real online test, but I predict my average score on the next 3 will be 5-6 points lower

49/50, only missing the 50/50/90 on
SpoilerShow
Viola Davis/Octavia Spencer
Really need to watch some of their respective work so I can tell them apart.

My only other quasi-coin flip was
SpoilerShow
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof/A Streetcar Named Desire
I was about 70/30 on that one

Between the fact that it was my best performance on one of these and the fact that I was sure on 48 of my answers, I'm inclined to agree with others that this test was on the easy side.
Sprinkles are for winners.

Interesting that so many boardies missed
SpoilerShow
"Shake it Off"
after Arthur Chu's video was posted here. That's pretty much the only way I was able to pull it without getting it mixed up with all her other songs.
i don't know much about contemporary pop music, but i got that one right because the song was ingrained into my mind after having to suffer through that song countless times while watching a poker streamer on twitch by the name of nanonoko...dude had that lame song set as his sub/follower music
Ah yes, the Pokerstars 6-max NL multi-table specialist. His graphs for a few years were mind blowing.
indeed they were...he has since downsized to 1 table...no idea how one goes from 20+ tabling to just 1...2 is the least i can play without getting bored...most i can do is 5 on a laptop...12 on a desktop with 2 monitors

i get them mixed up as well...i got it right only because i flipped a coin and it landed on the right answer

i got that one right because of
SpoilerShow
the beverly hills 90210 episodes where brenda auditioned and got the part of maggie...actually had never heard of that play before watching those episodes

I'm officially confused. Where did this test even come from? I see that the "official" online quizzes are still a week (plus) away. Was there a special event just for S. Fla?
It was announced for the West Palm Beach area but anyone was allowed to register and take it, assuming you were willing to go to an audition in South Florida rather than pick from the dozen or so cities listed for the other batch of tests. It was not explicitly stated but official word spread around that if you took this one, you were not to take any of the 3 April tests so I think most here are playing from the Youtube video.
Thanks for the explanation. Since I'm not eligible to take any contestant quiz this time around, I guess I haven't been paying enough attention, and missed this.

You're kind to respond.

Re: "Shake It Off"...

I just now found the video on YouTube. Watched about 45 seconds of it, about all I could stand.

Can't say I've ever heard the song before, but then maybe that's cuz everything sounds alike these days.

Didn't Taylor Swift used to sing country?

Prepping to take the real test tonight. if it's as easy as this one then I am golden. I'm no whiz, but managed a 45, missing
SpoilerShow
Poirot (no guess), McCarthy (Hoover), EGOT (couldn't pull it in time), Alps (outsmarted myself with Apennines), and Shake it Off (had the radio playing in the background and couldn't block it out)

The producers used this test for some in-person auditions last year (including mine).
