I thought Modus Operandi would sheep (it's the first thing I thought of when seeing the clue title). Never change, TD, never change.

So, just so I'm clear, Michelangelo went unused, but 4 people went with AJ Pollock!? I don't know why this game still surprises me, my head is still swimming from that nonsensical Merlin Olsen sheep.

Baseball and the NL West was my motivation in not worrying about others joining me. A sheep would have been a surprise. Singleton, 2, 3, or 4 seems right to me.

Agree with the score evaluation. My experience on the board -- not necessarily for those who played this particular TD -- is that there are a goodly number of sports fans who will show their stuff. Identifying the two teams made it clear to me that it had to be AJ Pollock. My particular motivation here is that within the last year I moved from Los Angeles to Arizona.

6. WIZARD OF OZ BEFORE AND AFTER
All answers were used at least once, with several singletons. Question and answers (and a year correction) in spoiler.
Spoiler

All options will have one part that relates to the movie The Wizard of Oz (except the first one -- BOTH halves of its answer come from that movie). Provide both parts of the answer in your response. Example: Actor who played five parts in TWoO + type of equine = Frank (Morgan) Horse

Character married to Uncle Henry + place where Dorothy and pals get spiffed up Auntie Emerald City
Donovan hit song from 1973 + colored walkway in Munchkinland Mellow Yellow Brick Road (It was pointed out to me today that the year should have been 1966; I do check the years, so I'm not sure why I put 1973. I'm sorry if this tripped anyone up on this question.)
Actress who played the Wicked Witch of the West + capital and island of the U.K. Margaret Hamilton Bermuda
Blithe Spirit author + feline without courage, initially Noel Cowardly Lion
Brie Larson role + Amazon series with Rachel Brosnahan (omit “The”) Captain Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
(professor Marvel was a character in TWoO)
Brand of vinyl dolls with big heads + flowers that "will put them [Dorothy, et. al.] to sleep" Funko Poppies
World War I canine hero and movie star + character who needed a heart Rin Tin Tin Man
Oswald's killer + Dorothy’s sparkling shoes Jack Ruby Slippers
Mr. O'Rourke, who ran for the U.S. Senate from Texas in 2018 + Dorothy's dog BeToto
Character who need a brain + metal rod to pry open things Scarecrowbar
"Cradle Song" published in 1868 + 3-girl group that welcomed Dorothy Brahms' Lullaby League

No recognition on song or title and then confirmed when I listened to it. Well some of it. Not for me as it would make me give up more than info than just name, rank & serial number. To think that would be a sheep? No, look at previous music responses from that era in previous TDs.

You knew it, great, and congrats on the singleton. Peachbox's game and like a music round in pub trivia it never bothered me that there were songs completely unfamiliar to me. The question gave me options and that's all I ask.

I don't think that particular track was released as a single, that's the main reason. I played that album to death back in high school.
