Who's gonna bump the "timing of audition invite emails" thread? I joined this board in 2012 and watched my hopes get dashed every year until the email finally came in 2017. I'm in limbo now, counting down my in-eligibility clock (7 more months) and wondering what TPTB will do with me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I took it for real after forgetting to take Wednesday's test. After getting 46 on the Tuesday and Wednesday tests based on posts here, I got 44 on this one so long as 'mariner' is accepted in lieu of 'ancient mariner.'
No way I was getting lemonade, NOAA, or Aidy Bryant...but Saving Private Ryan came to me after three more seconds and barley and pound were ones I should have gotten.

At 40, this would've been the best of the bunch for me (of course). Now whether I would've actually been able to do that if I had stayed up late enough to take it for real...who knows. Alas, there's always next year.

Took this one for funsies, as I'm in the pool from last year and thus ineligible.
Remarkably consistent performance:
1st 10: 8-2
2nd 10: 8-2
3rd 10: 8-2
4th 10: 8-2
5th 10: 9-1
Another 41, which seems to be my standard on these tests. I see complaints about too much science etc. I'm just glad they've cut back on the number of pop culture clues, which are always my downfall.
Good luck to all who took this for real.

Spoiler
It appears that I answered 8, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 27, 32, 35, 46, 47 and 48 incorrectly, so 37/50.
8: design (document)
16: base (saturated)
17: The Barber of Seville (The Marriage of Figaro)
18: penguin (kiwi)
22: yard (pound)
23: John Grisham (Jonathan Franzen)
24: Honda (Audi)
27: Regan (Cordelia)
32: Leslie Jones (Aidy Bryant)
35: Fyodor Dostoevsky (Leo Tolstoy)
46: Nubians (Amazon)
47: tombs (rocks)
48: Finished with a blank as I could think of the Jack London book, but not the Air Force song (Call of the Wild Blue Yonder)
The 35-40 correct range is usually how I've performed on these tests.
