TD 422 - 1990 (Final results)

Post by clt013 » Mon May 20, 2019 8:53 am

This quiz is being posted on the 29th anniversary of my high school graduation. The title is "1990", as most of the questions have something to do with that year.

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for that question
3) You may elect to take the sheep answer for one question
4) There is no bonus for not using the "drop" or "sheep", so you probably want to take the former and get a zero for one question
5) Wrong responses are the "sheep" answer +4
6) All answers are due by 8 AM Central time on Tuesday, May 28, 2019
7) Submit answers via this Google form or PM

Just to clarify on #10. I think you mean someone who has served continuously since 1990, at least.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

Phoenix (I-19)
I-19 doesn't run through Phoenix. Only 10 and 17 do.
I had the same issue with one of the sheep answers until I realized it's asking for something different than I thought. It's "Identify a state the route runs through and name its capital," not "Name a city the route runs through which is also a state capital."

Yeah, it might not have happened if I'd remembered Notre Dame is in France. And they must be in Division 3?

I couldn't remember Gathers's name. And that's why I'm leading.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

Last night I dreamed I was playing slide blues guitar, and I'll interpret it as Stevie Ray asserting himself after I pegged him as the sheep. Sorry, man.
