We previously had a thread about "What Would You Ask Alex?" prior to the GOAT tournament, noting that AT frequently gets repetitive questions and therefore has stock answers. Now that the tournament is over, I thought it might be interesting if some who have attended tapings share some of his common answers or answers that were memorable.
On my taping day, both the morning and afternoon audiences had someone ask questions about his mustache. His answer was the same to both: "I don't miss my mustache. I keep it in a jar in the closet and I see it every day."
Anyone else have a Q&A you might remember?

What Alex Has Been Asked
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Re: What Alex Has Been Asked
Over two years ago, my mom asked what he likes to do for Rest and Relaxation. He seemed to give it some careful consideration, then admitted to retreating to his bedroom to enjoy meals and to binge-watch Turner Classic Movies. Take that, Galapagos Islands!
I asked if he had a favorite among the many spoofs of J! or of him, and he singled out Eugene Levy's slow-burning "Alex Trebel" on SCTV.
He was very courteous with each person, and if he had been asked any particular question hundreds of times before, he gave no indication of it.

Re: What Alex Has Been Asked
His more complete answer to this one involves the setup of something along the lines of "I think it'll be a woman, someone young and with television experience..." But maybe he's told the joke so many times now he has become more curt. Or maybe the video clips we've seen have been edited down.

Re: What Alex Has Been Asked
In 2008 an audience member asked Alex "Boxers or briefs?"
The answer was "boxers." A few times he has even come onstage sans culotte.
