Poll time again.

The clue:

The Margaret Herrick Library of the Motion Picture Academy is home to more than 15,000 of these from 1910 to the present

Contestant Matthew was incorrect with
Spoiler
movies/films
Correct response:
Spoiler
scripts/screenplays
Myself? I gave the same incorrect response as Matthew but did not give the correct response after he was ruled incorrect.

I thought of movies first but quickly decided that J! was more likely to ask about print in a Libraries category. If the category was Stupid Answers I would have guessed differently...

Movies then would've picked up screenplays on the rebound if I was beaten to the buzzer. Obviously it makes sense in retrospect, but that top row's a buzzer race...
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

Yeah, the numbers so far definitely say "negbait" to me.

I assumed it couldn't be movies, but couldn't think of what else it could be so just kept clam.

With "Motion Picture" in the clue "films" was clearly not going to be the correct response. Calling it negbait is blaming it on the writers, when it was just a collective brain fart (that affected less than half of the voters).

I am not able to vote, as I neither clammed nor gave either of the responses listed.

That's what happened to me. I realized after the neg that it was probably scripts while the term "screenplays" never occurred to me.
