Had Rachel, but not Leah. Meh.

90% sure the first time I encountered "it was a dark and stormy night" was an episode of Star Trek but I can't remember which one.

Half a second too late shaking Tiber out. In the realm of five letter 'T' rivers, Tagus isn't the big dog.

Pop culture probably got me Queensbury rules and Peanuts at least helped drill 'IWADASN' into my head.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

I needed boxing to get to the Marquess. Maybe on a different day I wouldn't have.

I'm assuming my having knowledge of the Bulwer-Lytton Contest (and the Lyttle Lytton contest, born from its creator's dissatisfaction with the self-conscious wordiness he perceived in the BLC's winning entries) doesn't count as getting Friday's from pop culture.

Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I'm familiar with Bulwer-Lytton's work but Snoopy at his typewriter was certainly my first exposure to it.
I would prefer not to.

I knew the river began with a T, but didn't come up with Tagus in time.

I also knew that Hamilton was the first Secretary of the Treasury, but my love of the musical meant that I knew FJ immediately.
