Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19.
Is there an ongoing list of world leaders who have or have had COVID? Besides #45, I can only think of Boris Johnson and the one from Iran.

Bolsonaro from Brazil and Prince Albert of Monaco come to mind.

NPR had a list. The Honduran & Guatemalan presidents, as well as the Armenian PM, also have tested positive.

Tough couple of weeks for longtime St. Louis Cardinals fans, with the death of two legends of the game.

Bob Gibson was maybe the most dominant pitcher I ever saw, especially in the postseason. He still holds the record for most strikeouts in a World Series game, mowing down 17 batters in a game 1 shutout of the Detroit Tigers in 1968.

An unusual note on Gibson: After breaking basketball scoring records at Creighton University, he played briefly for the Harlem Globetrotters.

Made even tougher by the fact that they exited the playoffs in the first round, losing their Wild Card Series matchup to the San Diego Padres.

No shame losing to this Padres team. Now, if it was the Marlins...

The Marlins have played in front of empty stands for years. COVID is a huge home-field advantage for them.

I'll leave this here:

Patriots QB Cam Newton has tested positive. Sunday's KC-NE game has been postponed.

If the Dodgers beat the Padres and Miami beats the Braves then Mattingly could try to get the last laugh against L.A. to make it sting for those that bleed blue.

Lots of ways to get a World Series rematch:
Dodgers - A's 1974 and 1988
L.A. Dodgers - Yankees - 1977, 1978, 1981
Dodgers - Astros - 2017
Padres - Yankees - 1998
Marlins - Yankees - 2003
Atlanta Braves - Yankees - 1996, 1999

An all Florida WS would be different while the ratings slide would continue.

Not to mention more Titans and a Chiefs practice squad member

So, what's the criteria for postponement? The NFL wanted TEN-PIT to go on with 10 Titans out, but the second a big name gets it, the game has to be postponed? Personally, I think that after the first postponement, any further ones that would have required it are automatically forfeited.

TEN-PIT was rescheduled before the NE-STL postponement, at least according to the @NFL timeline

One of the great trivia facts of this age just got a little closer to being out-of-date.

Leon Tyler, grandson of president John Tyler, passed away September 26 at the age of 95. John Tyler still has one living grandson, Harrison Tyler.

(For anyone not familiar with this piece of trivia, these are plain old son-of-son grandsons, not "great-grandsons" or anything.)
That really is a ridiculously long generation time. I have a grandfather born in 1872, which is pretty long in its own right, but that still
Doesn’t come close.

As best I can tell, Andrew Hoover is in 2nd place. It was Caroline Manning Cunningham (granddaughter of William Howard Taft), but she died in March.

So that would put him ahead of both.

Yeah, John Tyler was in his sixties when their father was born, and he in turn was in his seventies when Lyon (not Leon) and Harrison were born.
