Took the test many times in Atlantic City at Merv Griffin's Resorts in the 90's. Have taken and passed every year since at least 2013. Last test I took was in 2018 and I finally got called to audition in Philadelphia in September of 2018, thus (in theory) being in the pool until just a few days ago when I hit the 18-month "try again" wall. I'll be taking the "anytime" test again here soon, just as soon as I get the time. Working from home has proven to be much busier than one might think.

I've been at this since 2002.
2002 Cincinnati - online application, chosen for audition, took test and passed
2003 Louisville - Brain Bus came to town, took 10-question test, passed, went to audition, took 50-question test, passed
2004 Nashville - online registration, chosen for audition, took test and passed
2005 Chicago - online registration, chosen for audition, took test and passed
2006 Indianapolis - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2008 Chicago - took online test but lost power during test
2009 Chicago - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2011 Lexington - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2012 Chicago - took online test, passed, received invitation to audition
2015 Kansas City - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2016 Oklahoma City - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2017 *** (audition city chosen by tester's ZIP code) - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2017 Chicago - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition (IIRC this was a 2nd chance due to the Sony hack)
2018 Cleveland - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2019 Nashville - took online test, passed, no invitation to audition
2020 Indianapolis - took online test, passed, waiting to hear
You seem to be one of my soulmates in this regard. Check my post below.

I'm pretty sure I've been at this longer than just about anybody else:

Going back to the days of the regional quiz, when you would register to get an invitation to a "cattle call" audition; If they ran out of space at that audition, you couldn't even get into the audition; if you got invited you would be among 200 or so in a room who took the 50-item quiz (or sometimes the 10-item screening quiz, followed by the big quiz for those who passed the little one):

1988: invited to regional audition, passed quiz, got into contestant pool, no Call.
1991: invited to audition, passed quiz, no Call.
1993: invited to audition, failed quiz.
1994: registered for audition but not invited.
1995: invited to audition, passed quiz, no Call.
1996: registered for audition but not invited.
1997: invited to audition, passed quiz, no Call.

1999 and 2000: while in LA on business, twice took the audition in the J! studio in Culver City. Passed and got into the pool both times, no Call.

2002: registered for regional auditions at home and in nearby cities four times before finally getting invited; passed quiz, no Call.
2003: registered for audition once my time in the pool expired without a Call; not invited.
2004: registered for regional auditions four times but never invited.
2004: Went to Brain Buss audition, passed screening quiz and big quiz, back into contestant pool, no Call.

Then, in the era of the online contestant quiz:

2006: passed first online quiz, invited to audition in Indianapolis, no Call.
Between 2008 and 2017: took online quiz 11 times (offered twice one year). Passed (at least scored 35 or better) 7 times, no invitation to audition.
2018: passed online quiz, invited to audition in Cleveland, got into contestant pool again, no Call.

2020: Passed online quiz again, waiting for invitation to audition.

For those keeping score at home, that's 32 years, 33 attempts spanning five decades; 10 times unable to get invited to Regional Audition, 8 Regional Auditions (passed test 7 times), 2 in-studio auditions, 1 Brain Bus audition, 14 online quizzes ((10 passed), leading to 2 invitations to auditions. That's a total of ten times in the contestant pool without The Call.

Seems to me I should bet up for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Or the Fine-line-between-Perseverance-and-Perseveration Award.

Or, if everybody else is too scared to go into a crowd for a taping, I'm still willing and able to go now.

I suspect I keep flunking the swimsuit competition.
