Fenton & Fowler's - reference in old 1985 game
Hello!
I am writing about the following clue:
Fenton & Fowler''s calls this elite Detroit ginger ale the best soft drink in the world
http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=3060
I've been unable to locate a reference for Fenton and Fowler's. Does anyone know if this was a reference material of some kind?
Thank you kindly for your help.

The clue is referring to the 1975 book Felton & Fowler's Best, Worst, and Most Unusual. Here's the relevant passage:

My tape still works and I was able to confirm it had Fenton. I added an erratum.

What’s up with response field on DJ11? Is there an erratum for that clue?MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:28 am My tape still works and I was able to confirm it had Fenton. I added an erratum.

I would have guessed Vernors
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

Aw, none of them got Vernors right? For shame.
(I'm from Michigan. I don't like Faygo or coney dogs, but I do like Vernors.)

Thanks everyone! I should have put a less restrictive title to this thread as I have another question on an old game.
This is the clue:
Septicema & saprema are 2 types of it
http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=3065
If I knew what saprema was and what it referred to I would suggest a correction directly in the Archive rather than posting here, but I couldn't find anything named saprema or something similar.
If anyone can clear up this mystery that would be great, thank you!
