Dateline Chicago: the city's going nuts. Sister Jean is a bona fide media sensation, and Loyola's "Gryffindor" colors are a big hit with my kids.

My husband was raised in Kentucky, and he's slowly getting over that loss.

I hope Chicagoans didn't have any problems finding bars that were open after the game.

I'm glad I'm not the only person to notice that Loyola has the same colors as Gryffindor.

I've gone to three Final Fours (1976, 1992, 1993). All three times, Michigan (I'm a 1976 graduate) lost in the title games. Coach Beilein will be relieved to learn that I don't plan to attend this year's Final Four.

There are probably people waiting for bars to open right now so they can get out!

I forgot to fill out a bracket this year so that's taken a lot of the stress out of watching - with the distinct exception of when my Jayhawks are playing. If Azubuike can stay out of foul trouble I think they'll be okay this evening.

Villanova/Kansas, Michigan/Loyola-Chicago. The presence of the usual blue bloods in the Final Four masks the insanity leading up to it. I want Villanova to take the title in order to salvage my otherwise ruined bracket. On the other hand, it would be nice for a Loyola to win it all one of these years, instead of being yet another "mid/low major in the Final Four that lost to ____" (see Butler, VCU, Wichita St., George Mason. etc).

As long as Michigan doesn't win, I'll be happy.

I don't know if the link I gave is tied into my account, so perhaps start simple with espn.com and then look for the create a bracket which should be front and center? Or this time of day it's of course going to be very busy.

Nope, your link is fine. The site was just being wonky there for a time. I've joined now, but they took down the link to the TC on their main website.

The last shot off the glass looked good and the tip should have fallen. Duke (and many brackets) were lucky to escape that one.

Non-sports fans of a certain age on the East Coast, though used to it by now, must hate Sundays with games making 60 Minutes air at varied times beyond 7 pm.

Jinx complete. Though that foul on the 3 attempt in regulation was garbage.
