Only one clue not seen so that alone tells you it was one of the better celeb games.

Funny that the guys had the same wrong guess for the FJ! clue while 1620 would be enough for many to solve it.

1620 almost threw me off because I was sitting there thinking "there is no way this is this easy. Right?"

It is a celebrity game. I bet Nathan’s charity was thrilled to learn he threw away $11,100 on a joke answer.

Did they edit out discussion of the players’ charities? It looked like there was an awkward cut during Lane’s interview and I don’t recall hearing it anywhere else, other than AT’s mention of Lane’s charity during FJ.

I noticed that too. A search of the CC file confirms we didn't miss anything. It wasn't there. Weird. My wild guess is that Foster chose NARAL and Connick Jr chose a New Orleans Catholic crisis pregnancy center.

Cutting out the charity talk from the original broadcast that had them is an easy way to shave time and make room for Alex's new opening.

When Harry didn't ring in for the Frank Sinatra question, he had to be just being modest, right?

A few other stand and stares had me slack jawed as well. Fort Worth, Philadelphia.....

I had the same thought, that maybe one of the charities was deemed controversial today so they scrubbed the entire thing. I thought I remembered from the original airing connick’s charity being a school, but after all this time...

I had FJ correct (even if I wasn’t 100% sure), but what was it w/ the men’s guesses?!

It's the end of the journey that counts.

I wonder if Budweiser paid anything for that.
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

I've realized a benefit of celebrity reruns: I generally don't bother with celebrity games on J! Archive, so the material (though easier) and outcomes aren't old news to me.

That was a baller lineup.

Also, I'm stealing Jodie's 'J' for my own signature. (I've already stolen Harvey Keitel's 'D' (according to Pulp Fiction), so she's in good company)
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

This originally aired the second week I owned a DVR (I saw a TiVo in action at a Super Bowl party on January 28, 2001, and bought one at Best Buy the next day).

Believe it or not, I actually recorded this ep when it first aired. XD That "HMS Budweiser" moment makes me laugh.

As Jodie was being announced as the winner, her score display changed to $21,600, and that is what Alex said that her charity would be receiving.
