I noticed in episode 2 or so that a contestant got penalized because they answered before Jane finished reading the question, though I don't remember if they got it right or not. That's another thing they should let go.
keeping the low budget low

Colin Jost was on the show in 2002 and said he was the weakest link each round as he never banked the money, but made it to the end and won. He was wearing a Harvard shirt.

Yesterday he got to play against Ellen: https://www.ellentube.com/episode/colin ... lands.html

I don't think Mary was as bad as she was made out to be. But I was rooting for her to win so maybe that's why.

The show's Wikipedia page had tables up of each episode with the full names of the contestants, but they have now removed it. That was how I was able to ID Josh so easily. It'll likely be tougher to now.

Russian doll was deja vu in this week's episode. Just like Kevin, the contestant knew the name but couldn't come up with it.

I managed to ID a contestant from the Anne version. Corey Burke from J! season 14 was the third highest winner ($133,500) on an episode of WL that aired Jan 7, 2003.

I remember that episode! Several of the episodes that were shelved and not released until GSN acquired them had much larger than average pots, and at least two episodes that never aired on NBC where the team banked the $125k target, including a Tournament of Losers edition (runners-up that were brought back for a second chance). I’d love to go back and compare how these current teams would have done with the old chain if they’d banked at the same levels. I don’t think we’ve yet to see them bank anything higher than four-link chain.

Line added on his J! page for Corey.

Hans: Can you give me a line to add to your page for 25 Words or Less? Thanks.

Done. Thanks. Quite the run of game show appearances and time for plenty more. You would be a fun "real" person on To Tell the Truth for the celebs to figure out who has been on so many game shows.

22 words. I was a little worried as I got nearer the end of the sentence. ;)

I'm watching the first episode again and someone did pass in the second round. So looks like it is allowed to, which is weird considering how many people stall trying to come up with something. I would have believed that they weren't allowed for whatever reason. Probably to give Jane something to call them out for and to provide the "humorous" wrong answer.

Want to have a round with 8 correct in a row? Have the players identify the Kardashian or Jenner shown.

Nope. On a good day, I can identify two of the clan, so that's where I would break the chain and everyone would throw things at me.

Unless it was a picture of Edward Jenner with a milkmaid and a needle.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Player 2 on tonight's show is Kaya Chua, whom you might remember from 2015 Jeopardy!.

Spoiler
Is Kaya the first person in the show's history to not miss a single question through the entire game? I know the questions are a lot easier in this version, but my god this was no contest.

Spoiler
The first in this version's run so far, yes. There have been at least two winners on the UK version I can remember to accomplish that feat.
