Victoria and Brandon on The Chase? This is the greatest news since Mike Richards's ousting. Pop the bubbly!

Whoopi said Sara Haines has this week off on The View, so Sara could be taping The Chase? That would make sense to line up with the cast changes news coming out this week.

Perhaps the season after, Brad and James leave and Matt and Amy take over.

What a surprise. Buzzy the Robot is joining a highly overrated show whose premise hinges entirely on insults. Yawn.

I don't see either Matt or Amy as having the personality for a Chaser.
Never been on J!, but once won a knockoff version that aired on local access TV.

There was a promo during Shark Tank tonight.

First chaser? I'll guess Victoria.

Would not be surprised if they title one of the episodes, "Let's Go Brandon".

I was wrong as Brandon is first and not Victoria. The 5/3 ep. according to my onscreen guide is "Meet the Stunner, the Lightning Bolt & the Queen"

The description says: Chaser Brandon "The Lightning Bolt" Blackwell faces off in a trivia battle against an attorney, a teacher and an office manager

Thanks, now I get the appeal of Buzzy even less than I already do. Seriously, what do you see in him that I don't?

Me wasting time checking dates on J-archive followed by advanced twitter searches to see what peeps said about Buzzy's looks based solely on TenPoundHammer's posts.

Season premiere was tonight.

Since this was the first episode of the season, I expected all three players to make it to the final chase.

No idea who the wrestler was in the second cash builder. T-Bone, something like that?

Fantasy Baseball was completely new to me. Very TPH-esque of me to say.

The contestants didn't do as well in the final as I thought they would, however I did expect Brandon to defeat the team.

Brandon is not the only person to jump in too quickly with kidney on a question with "kidney stone" as the answer as the late Cindy Stowell made that same mistake.

Liked Brandon. I wish he had a higher number to strive for in the final chase. The bubble wrap question was the last chance for the contestants to make his run a little more dramatic.

Brandon did not disappoint. I thought the Final Chase played out oddly: a 70k and 80k cash builder on the same team, yet they can only get 12 right in two minutes? Either the question set didn’t suit their collective eye or bad teamwork, I’m not sure which it was.

I’m looking forward to seeing Victoria show her stuff on a national stage, too.

I really hope that the producers would consider auditioning teams of three rather than just individuals. Given how formidable their lineup of chasers is, it’ll take either a collection of top quizzers or a well-oiled team to take them down.

All players tonight have been on J!

Crazy game. I'm not sure one would expect players who banked $10,000 and $60,000 to win the final chase, especially after the demoralizing elimination of McKinnie one step away from banking $300,000. I know I didn't.

I predicted that McKinnie would be on The Chase one day.

McKinnie’s J! episode might not haunt him as much anymore. ;)

A question that was on The Hustler last season appeared on tonight’s episode.
“The Doomsday Vault”.

Did not expect Emily to miss the Uranus question.

Impressive Final Chase.

To go from answering one question right in the cash builder to an impressive performance in the final chase was amazing to watch. It appeared that the two ladies may have had different strengths, which always works well. James took too much time to pass as the clock was winding down, making it impossible for the comeback to be completed.

The $300,000 miss will forever haunt all three contestants though $35,000 to play a game isn’t so bad.
