The Milne hint helped me recall poo-bah this week.

I was happy to figure out Hades the second time around without specifically recalling the clue & response, but I voted on how I did the first time seeing the FJ! clues. Marianas in 2017.

Definitely seen all the games previous to this week.

True Confession: I remembered the name Corday at about :32. I'm giving it to myself because-
1) I got it the first time, when I was, you know, not so old...
2) Since the game first aired, I read a massive history of the French Revolution, so there's no reason I shouldn't know her name...
3) It's a repeat, so it won't go onto my permanent record...
4) It's the holiday season, so I'm being charitable to myself... :)

Happy New Year to all, though I have a hunch the next week is going to be a little tough...

Best I could do Monday was stick a hyphen somewhere in heffalump. Shadwell made me eliminate Jefferson, so I guessed Franklin. Education Thursday. Focused completely wrong Friday and said Triton.

But it's specifically because of Wednesday's clue that I will probably never forget the name Charlotte Corday, so I avoid the box of shame. (Judging by the original poll, I had Hades when Friday's episode aired.)

Monday and Tuesday were new to me.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I checked the 'didn't need Milne' box, but I probably wouldn't have been as confident.

I feel like I've seen the first two games, but they predate my era of keeping records, so not checking the 'all 5 were repeats' box cause I can't be certain. (Maybe I remember them from the archives)

I'm not counting this as an 8/8 for the season though. Live, I'm still 0/12.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): WIthnail & I (7), An Autumn Afternoon (7), Europa Europa (7), Tampopo (9)

I might have gotten it without the Milne hint, but it turned what would've been a WAG into an Instaget. 8-)

I only got Jefferson and Hades the first time around (actually, I'm not sure about the former, but I can't imagine missing it. I do have records from that time, but I'm not currently sure where they are).

Not only have I seen all these episodes before, I was in the studio for the two ToC games aired this week.

I knew from the costume that it was going to be a Carmen clue as soon as I saw it, though it wasn't until I knew what the clue was asking for that "Carmen" was itself the correct response.

Seriously, that should have been a poll option

I definitely saw the last three because I had commented in the game threads. I probably saw the first two but I can’t say for certain.

I will add I enjoyed these last ten games more than I thought I would. A bunch of TOC players was nice to see. I also liked the special categories Alex hosted.

Friday's repeat was the only one of the five I could remember for sure having seen, and I actually remembered getting it right the first time.

No clue on Charlotte Corday. It will be become one of innumerable nuggets I know only because of Jeopardy.

I was thinking Labor and would have guessed it if actually playing, but I counted it wrong on the poll because I couldn't commit within the time limit. I was familiar with Perkins from high school class discussion, but I remember being surprised 10 years later when I found out Perkins was a she. Sheesh.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

I air-wrote "poo-bah," spent a lot of time thinking it didn't look right (without A.A., the word Milne wasn't triggering for me), and air-crossed-it-out with less than ten seconds left.

Not a good week for me, although I did answer Benjamin Franklin, Education, and Mariana, so at least I get to check a lot of poll boxes. Yay for checking boxes.
